Central Ostrobothnia Excursion – Kokkola via Seinäjoki, Nov 6–7
As we learned in the lectures for the course KAS.KAA.010, the Kokkola Pedagogio (built in 1696) is the oldest surviving non-ecclesiastical wooden building in Finland. This raises the question: What else does Kokkola have to offer? What is that boat in England Park (Englanninpuisto) all about?
You’ll find the answers to these questions on this Kokkola excursion! During the trip, we’ll get to explore Seinäjoki and Kokkola while enjoying each other's company amidst idyllic Ostrobothnian rural landscapes. On the return journey, we’ll stop at the legendary Keskinen Village Shop in Tuuri!
